本标准规定了利普金双毛细管比重瓶法测定液体的密度和比重的方法，同时规定了由密度换算成比重的计算方法。本标准适用于在规定试验温度下测定任何液体的密度，使用范围只限于蒸气压力低于0.8OPa(约600mmHg)和20℃时的粘度小于15mm2/s(cSt)的液体密度。本标准包括方法A、方法B两部分。方法A，适用于纯化合物和挥发性小的混合物。方法B，适用于高挥发性的混合物
