本标准规定了我国非地浸型铀矿地质勘查的目的任务、研究程度、控制程度、工作及质量要求、可行性评价工作、铀矿资源/储量分类依据及类型条件、铀矿资源/储量估算等。本标准适用于非地浸型铀矿地质勘查各阶段的总体工作部署;可作为验收、评审铀矿资源/储量及各类成果的总要求;也是制定铀矿地质各类专业规范、规程、规定、指南等的总要求;还可作为铀矿矿业权转让，铀矿勘查开发筹资、融资、股票上市等活动中评价、估算铀矿资源/储量的依据
