本部分规定了低合金结构钢较为实用的应力腐蚀试验方法及其加载系统、试验条件、试样设计和制备、应力腐蚀试验槽、结果处理及评定和试验报告。本部分适用于低合金结构钢在制造过程中的质量控制及制备工艺改进，也适用于低合金结构钢构件在实际或模拟服役环境中耐应力腐蚀性能的评定。本部分所涉及的应力腐蚀包括拉应力作用下的局部非均匀腐蚀、应力腐蚀开裂和由电化学析氢而导致的氢脆。
