本文件规定了F型和B型剩余电流动作断路器(以下简称RCD)的基本要求、分类、特性、标志和产品资料、正常使用条件、结构和性能要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、运输和贮存、质量承诺内容。本文件适用于交流额定频率50 Hz，60 Hz或者50/60 Hz的F型RCCB（不带过电流保护的剩余电流动作断路器）和F型RCBO（带过电流保护的剩余电流动作断路器），用于变频器由相线和中性线或者相线和接地的中间导体供电的电气装置，能对额定频率交流正弦剩余电流、脉动直流剩余电流和可能产生的复合剩余电流提供保护。
