本标准规定了塑料编织阀口袋的术语和定义、分类、型号、规格、命名和标识、基本要求、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、标签、包装、运输和贮存以及质量承诺。本标准适用于以聚丙烯树脂为主要原料，经挤出、拉伸成扁丝、编织,并进一步与聚乙烯树脂复合、制袋而成的塑料编织阀口袋（以下简称“阀口袋”）。本标准不适用于其他材质的阀口袋及包装袋。
