本标准规定了高精度易切削黄铜棒的术语和定义、产品分类、基本要求、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输、贮存、质量证明书、订货单（或合同）内容和质量承诺。本标准适用于直径或对边距3 mm～16 mm的圆形、矩（方）形、六角形易切削黄铜棒（以下简称棒材）。
